On May 29, the 7th Annual Congress of the Russian Leasing Industry was held in St. Petersburg. 177 representatives of 124 organizations took part in the Congress.
The reformation of the Russian leasing market, conducted by the Bank of Russia was the main topic of discussion at the Congress of. Participants discussed forthcoming legal and structural changes to take place at the market and their impact on the practical aspects of the leasing companies’ activities.
20 reports and expert opinions were heard at the Congress, which gave rise to further discussions by the audience.

Yusupov B.S., the Deputy General Director of «Uzbek Leasing International AO» JSC represented the Uzbekistan Lessors’ Association at this event. In his presentation «The state of the Uzbekistan leasing market in the conditions of global financial turbulence» regarding the situation at the leasing market of our Republic, Botur Suratbekovich noted some factors that contribute to the stable growth of leasing companies using the experience of Uzbekistan as an example.
