The event organizer is SAIPRO Information and Rating Agency, with the official support of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the General Arab Insurance Federation.
At present the Tashkent International Investment Financial Forum has already become a prestigious platform for constructive business communication for both foreign and domestic representatives of investment and financial sector.
It should be noted that special attention is paid in Uzbekistan for the establishment of favorable investment climate and the dynamic investment activity growth. In 2013, the implementation of active investment policy provided growth of investment in fixed capital by 11.3 percent. 150 manufacture projects totaling approximately. $2.7 billion have been completed as part of the Investment Program. Foreign investment in the past year exceeded $3 billion, of which more than 72 percent — foreign direct investment.
One of the effective tools for informing on the opportunities created in Uzbekistan and guarantees for foreign companies and potential investors is to hold conferences, presentations and business forums. The Tashkent International Investment Financial Forum will undoubtedly serve to this end.
There are over 450 participants in in the Forum, including representatives from international financial institutions, domestic and foreign ministries and public organizations, banks and insurance, leasing, accounting and investment companies, international rating agencies, with over 100 foreign participants from more than 25 countries.
The Forum will provide an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues related to current state of the economy, further development of business environment, raising investment activity, development of financial sector, including banking, insurance, leasing and investment spheres.
The following major activities will also be organized within the forum: VII Tashkent International Conference on Insurance and Reinsurance and III Tashkent International Conference on banks and portfolio investment, VII Tashkent international conference in leasing, and a roundtable entitled: «Investment opportunities and capacities of the economy sectors: ICT, tourism and publishing & printing activities and UzbekInvest media briefing.
The forum will also feature Golden Umbrella and Gold Portfolio diplomas awarding ceremony. The awards are established by SAIPRO Information-rating agency with the support of the Uzbekistan Banking Association, Association of professional participants of the insurance market of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Lessors Association and UzReport Information Agency.
