On April 13-14, 2016, in Tashkent at the “Kurgazma Savdo Markazi” exhibition complex the annual national exhibition of banking services, equipment and technology “BankExpo-2016” was held.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan acted as the organizer of “BankExpo-2016”. Official support was provided by the Budget and Economic Reforms Committee and the Committee for Information and Communication technologies of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan).

The exhibition was held in partnership by the Uzbekistan Banking Association with the Association of IT companies and organizations of Uzbekistan and “Uztelecom” JSC.
All commercial banks of the Republic, leading leasing, insurance and investment companies of Uzbekistan, representing the latest technology and services in the banking and financial sector, as well as the companies engaged in the development of IT-services for financial institutions took part in the exhibition.
In addition, the exhibition was attended by a number of other organizations that actively cooperate with the banking system on the issues of small business support, especially that of aspiring entrepreneurs and graduates of professional colleges.

“BankExpo-2016” is information and practical platform to exchange information and experience, get acquainted in details with the achievements and prospects of the financial and banking sector development, as well as to expend mutually beneficial partnership between representatives of banks, leasing companies and businesses.
Over the many years of experience, the “BankExpo” exhibition became a significant event in the field of further reforming and increasing sustainability of financial and banking sector of the Republic, which provides the possibility to organize an effective dialogue between participants of the financial and banking sector of Uzbekistan and clearly demonstrates the significant progress achieved in this area over the years of Independence.
