X International Industrial Fair — Cooperation Exchange has been completed in Tashkent

 

The 10th International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange has completed its work in the capital of Uzbekistan. For this week, its participants established cooperation relations to develop new products, signed contracts on supply or purchase of raw materials and supplies necessary for production, components and industrial products.

As it was emphasized during the event, the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange promotes creation of necessary market infrastructure to form and expand long-term economic relations, and provides enterprises with an access to raw materials and credit resources.

Over 2,9 thousand domestic enterprises have participated in this year Fair. Compared to the same period of last year, this indicator has grown by 143%. More than 2,200 domestic participants are subjects of small business and private business. Participants have exhibited more than 22 thousand types of products, produced by the enterprises of our Republic, including over one thousand new types of products mastered in 2015-2016

It must be stated that all infrastructure of “Uzexpocentre” NEC, including 7 pavilions, 2 atriums, outdoor areas, and conference halls were used to hold the Fair’s events.

It was noted that within the framework of the event, 52 presentations were made of the leading industrial sectors, perspective small enterprises, and regions of the Republic to demonstrate the possibilities of our country’s industry and perspective enterprises producing competitive import-substituting products.

One of the indicators of high interest in the Fair’s events is a number of visitors. More than 114 thousand people, over 1000 representatives of the foreign enterprises from 35 countries attended this year’s Fair.

As the result of X International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange the participating enterprises have concluded 1.16 times more contracts on acquisition of products than in the previous year. Besides, at the Fair the approved forecasted number of contracts was signed on sale of products for export.
