Results of the leasing development of Uzbekistan in the first half year 2012

August 13th, 2012 the International banking and financial center held a meeting of the Lessors Association of Uzbekistan on the results of the leasing sector of the country in the first half of this year.
During the event, the results of the leasing market during the period were summed up and future challenges and priorities for development of this sector in our country identified.
Thus, in the first six months of 2012, on the leasing market of the republic were signed more than 2.5 thousand transactions totaling more than 252 billion soums. The total volume of leasing transactions for the reporting period amounted to 1 trillion and 373 billion soums and increased over the same period last year, by more than 12%.
