Uzbekistan Lessors Association was held according to the results of 1st half of 2019

On July 19, 2019, a meeting of the Uzbekistan Lessors Association was held in Simurg Business Center building, dedicated to the results of the first half of 2019. During the meeting, the reporting period was summed up and further tasks and priority directions for the development of the leasing market in our country were identified.

According to the results of the 1st half of 2019, 44 lessors actively participated in the leasing services market of the republic, of which 15 are banks. The total portfolio of leasing operations for the reporting period amounted to 4 trillion 351 billion soums. During the reporting period, the lessors concluded 5,202 new leasing transactions, their volume amounted to 1 trillion. 189 billion soums, which is 52.2% or 409 billion soums more compared to the same period last year.

According to the results of the half year, agricultural equipment the share of which in the total structure of leasing transactions has amounted to 39.9% is leading among the objects leased. The volume of transactions related to the leasing of technological equipment — 37.4% and motor transport — 20.6% is also significant. In turn, the rates of leasing real estate and property complexes have sharply declined and amounted to only 2.1% of the entire market.

In the period under review, the largest market participants among leasing companies were Uzagrolizing (470.9 billion soums), Nano Lizing (186.7 billion soums), Kurilishmashlizing (135.9 billion soums), «Uzbek Leasing International AO» (82.3 billion soums), and Uzavtosanoa-Leasing (64.8 billion soums).

Among banks, the largest lessors of the reporting period were Ipoteka Bank (38.9 billion soums), Ipak Yuli Bank (11.2 billion soums), Kishlok Kurilish Bank (9.1 billion soums), “Turon Bank” (2.8 billion soums), “Mikro Kredit Bank” (2.6 billion soums).

In the new leasing transactions carried out during the first half of 2019, the largest share among the regions is occupied by Tashkent city- 41.8%, Kashkadarya region and Tashkent region occupy the second and third places — 8.7% and 8.3% respectively.
