From March 4 to 6, 2025, the official visit of the President of the Association of Lessors of Armenia — Arsen Bazikyan to the Leasing Association of Uzbekistan and leading leasing companies took place. As part of the visit, meetings were organized with representatives of leading leasing companies of Uzbekistan, including Uzbek Leasing International A.O., Uzagrolizing, Mikro Leasing, Fincom and Artum Leasing.
During the meetings, key issues of the development of the leasing industry of both countries were discussed, including:
- The structure of the country’s leasing portfolio;
- Exchange of experience in interaction with market participants;
- Experience of international interaction, including other associations and IFIs;
- Support programs for the development of the leasing business;
- Digital platforms that help improve business processes in leasing activities.
The visit contributed to strengthening international ties, exchanging experiences and discussing promising areas for the development of the leasing market in Armenia and Uzbekistan. The Leasing Association of Uzbekistan expresses gratitude to Arsen Bazikyan for productive discussions and hopes for further cooperation.
